SMS/Text Messaging Terms and Conditions

By consenting to receive SMS/text messages from Annie Moses Academy, you agree to the

following terms and conditions:

Program Description

Annie Moses Academy offers an SMS notification service for parents and guardians of enrolled

students. Messages may include urgent school announcements, schedule changes, event

reminders, grade-level notifications, and individual follow-ups from school administrators.

Consent and Opt-In

Consent to receive SMS messages from Annie Moses Academy is obtained verbally during a

one-on-one enrollment phone call between the parent or guardian and a school administrator.

Annie Moses Academy does not collect phone numbers or consent through any public online form.

A parent's phone number is added to the SMS notification system by school staff only after the

parent or guardian has verbally agreed to receive text messages during this call.

During the enrollment call, the school administrator reads the following disclosure to the parent or

guardian:

"Annie Moses Academy sends text message notifications about school announcements,

schedule changes, event reminders, and other important updates. Families typically receive

up to about 10 messages per month, and message and data rates may apply. You can stop

anytime by replying STOP, or reply HELP for assistance, and we'll never sell or share your

number. If you'd like to receive these texts, just let us know and we'll add your number — or

let us know if you'd prefer we reach you another way."

The parent or guardian must verbally agree before their phone number is enrolled. Consent is not

a condition of enrollment; parents may decline SMS messaging and still enroll their student, and

may choose to be contacted through another method instead. Annie Moses Academy maintains a

record of consent for each enrolled family.

Opt-Out

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message received from Annie Moses

Academy. You will receive a confirmation of your opt-out and will no longer receive text messages.

To resume messages, reply START at any time.

Message FrequencyMessage frequency varies based on school activity. You may receive up to approximately 10

messages per month.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply to messages sent and received. Annie Moses Academy is not

responsible for any charges from your wireless carrier. Please consult your carrier for details about

your plan.

Privacy

Your mobile phone number will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing or

Supported Carriers

SMS messages are sent via standard SMS protocols and should be compatible with all major U.S.

wireless carriers. However, Annie Moses Academy cannot guarantee delivery on all carrier

networks.

Liability

Annie Moses Academy is not liable for any delays or failures in the delivery of SMS messages due

to carrier issues, network outages, or device incompatibility. SMS notifications are provided as a

convenience and should not be relied upon as the sole method of receiving school

communications.

Changes to Terms

Annie Moses Academy reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.

Updated terms will be posted at https://www.anniemoses.org/terms. Continued receipt of SMS

messages after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
