Brimming with power, love, and wonder, Merry Christmas, Uncle Scrooge! rediscovers the heart of Dickens’s beloved A Christmas Carol. More than a story about greed, this original musical returns to Dickens’s love for children and how society is judged by its treatment of “the least of these.”

With libretto and lyrics by Robin Wolaver and music by Bill Wolaver, the musical was written in the tradition of classic Broadway and was filmed live at the Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts in 2024. This epic production stars Benjamin Wolaver as Ebenezer Scrooge and features a large company of actors and students from the Annie Moses Collective. Runtime is approximately 2 hours.
